I run The Retirement Gift Co. — a UK studio that makes personalised retirement gifts to order. Every product on the site is made when someone places an order; nothing is warehoused. The brand exists because anyone marking a retirement already has a small mountain of generic occasion homewares, and what actually lands as a gift is something that names the person and their career.

I write the profession guides, gift collection pages, and product descriptions on the site myself. They are based on what we actually ship, what people actually buy, and what we hear back from customers. Where I cite a source — a professional body, an industry figure, a delivery lead time — I link to it. Where I cite operator data, it comes from our actual order history.
